History

Established in 2010.

Founded in 2010 by Jim and Valerie Sheehan, Carefree Outdoor Living set out to provide high quality outdoor furnishings to our local residents in Cave Creek, Carefree, North Scottsdale, and anywhere else our customers may want our services. Co-owner Nick Stelfox joined the business in December of 2011 with the vision of providing high quality, personal, customer service to all our customers. We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality outdoor furniture, bbq grill appliances, and cushion replacements while maintaining the small town feel our customers love!

Meet One of the Owners

Nick S.
Originally from Kansas, Nick has lived in the Valley for over 10 years and enjoys golf, hiking, running, and crossfit. Jim and Valerie, who co own the business, are originally from New Jersey, but have been local Cave Creek residents for over 25 years.

Nick sits on the board of the Carefree / Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce and currently holds the position of Board Chair for the 2016 / 2017 term.
